Great First Night
We had a great night! Lily is a great nurser and ate/slept all night like a champion. Steven was able to catch up on sleep and I cuddled all night with Lily. The doctor has released me from the hospital, so we are waiting for Lily to get her Hep B immunization and discharge papers then we are outta here! We have two grandmas at home ready to take care of our family...Thank Goodness for grandmothers:-) Here is a pic of her sleeping in her bassinet last night:

Lily is here!!!!
So, my water broke at 10:30 and my contractions came at 11:30. I made it to the hospital at 2:30 and was 4 cm dilated. Got the epidural at 3:30 and was fully dilated at 5am. Lily was born at 5:52am on Saturday, November 22, 2008. Lily is 8 pounds 10 ounces, 20 inches tall. She has a fully head of jet black hair and Steven's coloring. It is amazing how much she has in common with her big sister. Everything is perfect!

The Labor Begins
Welcome to Lily's Blog! At 10:30 p.m. my water broke! Contractions are slowly coming, so we are waiting until they are 5 mins apart until we go to the hospital. Naturally, when it happened I immediately called my mom who jumped in her car and is on her way. Steven's mom and brother are here, so they will share in the experience with us. Regardless, in less than 24 hours....Lily will be here. I will post as often as I can so that you can all share in the experience with us. We will be going to Anne Arundel Medical Center when it is time. More to follow soon~
