Lily's School 1st Bday Party

At school, Lily celebrated her birthday with cupcakes and friends. She took her first few steps today and enjoyed a fantastic cupcake made by daddy. Enjoy the pics!

Lily Eats Spaghetti

Well, at 10 months old Lily has discovered spaghetti!
She ate an entire "big girl" serving and was double fisting/shoveling the spaghetti into her mouth. It was complete with sauce and meatballs! Absolutely precious!

Hi everyone! Lily has really had an exciting summer. She is crawling all over the place and is starting to try to walk. She is a very happy baby! She is eating everything she can fit in her mouth and loves to try new things. Last night, she ate Chinese noodles and cut up bananas....quite a combo. She loves soft animals and cuddly blankets. She also loves to watch baby Einstein with her big sister and loves to play peek-a-boo and chase with her big sister too! Her and Vanessa have a great relationship and we are so proud of them. Her are some pics to enjoy! She is growing so fast~

Lily's First Lobster

Lily loves her lobster!!! She immediately tried to eat the claw... She will be a seafood lover like her mom and sister!

The Park

The weather was so nice that we went to the park for a bit! Both girls had a fabulous time! Lily loves seeing the world from her baby bjorn!!!

4 Month Checkup

Lily had her 4 month checkup last week. She weighed in at 16 lbs and 12 ounces, 27 inches long! she is in the 70th percentile for her weight and in the 97th percentile for her height. She took her shots like a pro and only spiked a mild fever that was cured with tylenol. She is now eating spoonfuls of rice cereal with her lunch and really enjoys sitting with us at the big table for dinners as a family. She is happy and healthy!!!

Lily is smiling!!!

Lily has really started talking and smiling! Every morning, she wakes up and giggles at mommy. Her eyes are so bright and she is so attentive. She looks at you and really studies your face when you talk to her. She then talks back to you in baby gibberish. Although she is still having some tummy problems, you would never know it because she is so happy! We went for a walk this weekend for the first time in her life because it was 82 degrees here. She was thrilled to be out and was so wide eyed as she embraced the world for the first time. We were all together as a family and got to share in this special moment together. She weighs about 16 pounds now and hit 3 months old on the 22nd of Feb. Everyone is happy and healthy!!!

2 Month Check Up

Lily had her 2 month checkup this week. She weighed in at 13 pounds and 12 ounces, which puts her in the 95th Percentile. She is 23 inches long, which is in the 82nd Percentile. She was diagnosed with acid reflux and has been put on a medication called Prevacid that is really helping a lot. She used to be very grumpy after eating, but the medicine has taken away all of the pain so all is well! Here is a pic of her on the scale:

The Great Grandparents

Lily was able to meet her Great Grandparents this month. My mother's parents and my dad's mom were able to spend some time getting to know Lily! It was a very special time for me and I truly enjoyed sharing those moments with my girls. Here are some pictures of the occasion:
